Why Now Is The Time To Get Your Last Disposable Vapes

Most people who vape will be aware that the law is soon to change and the sale of single-use disposable e-cigarettes will be made illegal.

The national ban will come into effect from June 1st, meaning that from that date onwards, any retailer selling or attempting to sell single-use devices will be breaking the law and can be prosecuted. However, it does not mean you cannot use them on or after June 1st if you have purchased them before this time.

Scotland was meant to introduce its own ban earlier, on April 1st. However, the Scottish government has now decided to push this back to June 1st to fall in line with the rest of the UK.

Explaining the delay, health secretary Neil Gray said: “We have worked closely across the four nations to ensure a consistent approach to a ban on the sale and supply of single-use vapes so we can provide certainty to businesses and consumers.”

This does mean that any retailer living in Scotland doesn’t have to scramble to dispose of remaining stock in such a hurry, while vapers north of the border won’t have to rush to snap up any last-minute bargains quite so soon.

Start Bargain Hunting Now

Nonetheless, the days are still not far away and if you are looking for the best disposable vape clearance in the UK, we are ready to deliver it.

The sale aims to shift out the stock before it literally becomes worthless, which is why there will be bargains galore. It does not mean you will have to stop vaping once your supplies run out, however, because it is only single-use devices that are being banned, so you can carry on vaping using our many vape kits and learning to mix your own.

You can grab lots of bargains and enjoy some of your favourite flavours, while if there are some you haven’t tried before, it is an opportunity to give them a go after buying them at a discount price. After all, if you like them, you can recreate the flavour for yourself once you are mixing your own vapes.

Indeed, now is a great time to be buying both disposable vapes and vape kits. If you are used to disposable devices, you can use this time to learn to use the kits so you are ready for June and beyond, while at the same time taking advantage of the bargains available in the sale.

On the other hand, if you already use vape kits and don’t normally buy single-use devices, you can still enjoy some last-minute bargains and save yourself some money in the process. Indeed, you too could find some new flavours to experiment with this way, knowing that if you turn out not to like them, at least it didn’t cost much.

Don’t Miss Out

The other thing to remember is that while you can still use these single-use vapes at any time even after June 1st, it makes sense to start getting some now, as there is no reason for the stock not to be exhausted before May 31st if everything has been bought up. So, if you leave it late, you might miss out!

If you are getting disposable vapes, it is, of course, important to dispose of them responsibly. One of the main reasons the ban is coming is because of the littering problem, the other being the accessibility they provide to under-age users.

These issues are not unrelated; a lot of youngsters might not have developed the maturity to act responsibly over litter and use the nearest bin, so they will be responsible for a lot of the single-use vapes lying on the pavement alongside discarded cans and sweet wrappers.

Be Sure To Recycle

Not only does this mean a lot of plastic waste being discarded, but also lithium batteries. This is a vital substance that will be increasingly used in electric vehicles and other appliances. While the UK’s first lithium plants will soon be up and running in Cornwall and County Durham, most of the material is imported. Therefore, recycling is important.

The days of disposable vaping in the UK may be drawing very close to their end, but it makes sense to say goodbye responsibly and embrace recycling. This will also be true when you have reusable kits, as there will still be things like juice pods that should end up in the recycling bin once used.

In the meantime, enjoy the mother of all clearance sales and find out what bargains you can grab while they are still available. Everything must go!
